You Didn't Have Surgery to Eat Like a Barbie Doll
I just read a great post in our Facebook Support group that made me sad.
Everything you need to know about living your best post-op bariatric surgery life.
I just read a great post in our Facebook Support group that made me sad.
This is a very common question in our Facebook Groups, so donít feel bad if youíve wondered this too!
What do we do about taking protein powder on a flight? Cruise? Out of the country?
I didn't say anything bad, I was just trying to find out who else drinks the protein I buy at Walmart. I thought this was a Support Group!
I have noticed that most of us, although seemingly proud of our total pounds lost, are embarrassed by the way we look.
There are different types of bariatric surgery and all kinds of program rules but it really boils down to just a few strong ground rules to follow that really apply to everyone ñ Lap Band, Sleeve or RNY.
Frequently we have people who joined our groups asking for help to lose weight or their regain who fight with us to hang on to toast in their diets (or Tortillas, or Crackers, or Noodles or a bowl of Oatmeal) and get upset with us when we tell them NO.
The products we carry are our own. They've been formulated with top food companies in the USA and Canada. Our proteins are of the highest-quality and designed specifically for those who have undergone bariatric surgery. We meet nutritional supplement guidelines of even the strictest surgical centers, and have worked with doctors & healthcare professionals to create the right balance of nutrients. Plus, our products taste great!
